- Set and designate time for your appointment.
By doing so you will be dedicating this time solely to your appointment. Also, creating a safe space free of distraction will allow you to focus and talk freely with your psychologist.
- Think about what works for you.
Your appointment can be conducted over the phone or via video call. When choosing an appointment format, you should consider what makes you feel comfortable and what is practical. Don’t be afraid to switch it up.
- Things you need for your session.
Set-up you space with everything you may need for your appointment. At Life Resolutions, we recommend a glass of water, a pen, and paper, plus anything you may feel will benefit you throughout the session.
- Try to use a hand-free device for video consultations.
Whether it be a laptop, phone or PC, making sure the camera is not moving and ideally hands-free. This will add to your comfort throughout the session.
- Don’t be afraid to give feedback
